A seemingly impossible schedule for this project was met with precise coordination, extensive overtime, and dogged effort. Complicating the project further was the fact that we inherited the completion of the core and shell when the base building contractor abandoned the job. Six levels, three kitchens, four dining rooms, two bars, miles of gold braid, silver leaf, stained glass, and faux finishes only begin to describe the richly appointed Russian Tea Room. State of the art MEP services were fully integrated with original antiques and decorative surfaces. Exterior work included new bronze ornamentation, stucco, and bronze-clad windows as well as refurbishment of the original bronze revolving entry and the iconic series of fourteen gilded stag heads.
